The Philadelphia Inquirer Food Festival 2026 Ticket Purchase Terms May 1, 2026
The Philadelphia Inquirer Food Festival 2026 (the “Event”) is an event organized by The Philadelphia Inquirer, LLC (“The Inquirer”). By purchasing tickets for the Event (“Ticket” or “Tickets”), on Your own behalf and on behalf of those who use the Tickets (collectively, “You”/“Your”), You agree to the applicable Ticket offer and these Terms, and represent that You have with the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of the holders of all Tickets You purchase.
Time and Place. The Event will take place on November 14th, 2026 at The Fillmore Philadelphia, which is located at 29 Allen Street in Philadelphia, PA 19123. The Event is rain or shine.
Who Can Attend. Entry to the Event is by valid Ticket only at The Fillmore. You must be at least 21 to purchase Tickets and to attend the Event. Each Ticket is single entry only; no re-entry will be allowed. To enter the Event, You must be at least 21 and present a valid, unused ticket and a valid, government-issued I.D. at the door. The Inquirer reserves the right to refuse entry and attendance to anyone presenting an invalid ticket or I.D., or who does not comply with these Terms or the Venue Rules described in Section 10 of these Terms.
Ticket Offers and Purchases. The Inquirer’s Ticket Offers are available only at: https://www.universe.com/inquirerfoodfest2026. Ticket offers are subject to the maximums indicated at check-out. One Ticket per attendee. Quantities are limited; Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void and will not be honored.The Inquirer makes no representations or warranties about the availability of tickets; https://www.universe.com/inquirerfoodfest2026 is subject to downtime. Tickets are sold through Universe, a third party site, which is governed by its terms and privacy policy, and not those of The Inquirer. By purchasing any ticket(s), you agree to these ticket terms, on your own behalf and on behalf of any others using any ticket(s) you have purchased. You represent that you are authorized to agree to these terms on your own, and their behalf.
Ticket Entitlements. Subject to these Terms, Your Ticket provides You with the access to the Event and the entitlements included with Your Ticket. There are three types of Tickets: First Tasting (11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.), Second Tasting (3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.), and All-Day Access Pass (11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.; with a private reception from 2:00 until 3:30). You can view what is included with Your Ticket any time by scanning the QR code on Your Ticket or going to: https://www.universe.com/inquirerfoodfest2026.
Ticket Prices. All Ticket prices are as indicated in The Inquirer’s Ticket Offers, and are subject to a Service Fee of $2.00 per ticket, and any applicable credit card surcharge fee(s), taxes and/or tariffs, all of which are included in the final price of your Ticket(s).
Promo Codes. Promotional codes, redeemable for Ticket discounts will be available on a limited first-come, first-served basis to Ticket purchasers who (a) are active, fully paid subscribers to The Inquirer on the date the applicable Ticket purchase or (b) donated $50.00 or more to The Lenfest Institute for Journalism High Impact Journalism Fund since June 9, 2025. Promo codes must be entered by You at checkout, and will not be applied retroactively. If you are eligible for a promo code, You will receive an email from us. If You are eligible for a promo code, but have opted out of email communications, You can request a promo code by calling Customer Service at 215-222-2765. Only one promo code or discount offer per order; promo codes and discounts can not be combined.
Event Lineup. The Inquirer reserves the right to modify its choices and its scheduling of restaurants, chefs, talent, and other aspects of the Food Fest at any time up until the date of the event.
Parking. Self-parking at the Venue is subject to availability. If available, it will not be subject to any additional charge.
No Refunds. No returns, exchanges, cancellations, credits, adjustments, or refunds under any circumstances, except in the event of a cancellation of the Event by The Inquirer.
Venue Rules. By purchasing any Ticket(s), You consent to The security protocols and venue rules of The Fillmore which can be found here: https://www.thefillmorephilly.com/visit. Those rules include: (a) search by wand or walk-through metal detection and/or patdowns; (b) bag searches and emptying pockets; (c) a prohibition on: (i) bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”; (ii) weapons; (iii) outside alcoholic beverages; (iv) illegal drugs/substances; (v) glass containers; (vi) cans; (vii) hard sided/large coolers; (viii) animals (other than service animals); and (ix) other items deemed unacceptable by The Inquirer or The Fillmore,. There is no smoking inside The Fillmore ; smoking is allowed in a designated outdoor area at the Event. The Inquirer reserves the right to refuse entry to, and to remove You from the Event if You violate the venue rules or any applicable law, present any risk to Yourself, others,or the venue, or conduct Yourself in an inappropriate manner, in each case, at the sole discretion of The Inquirer. The Fillmore is a cashless venue; no cash transactions.
Other Ticket Purchase Rules. By submitting an order for any Ticket(s), You represent and warrant that all details provided to The Inquirer are correct and consent to the delivery of Tickets immediately following processing of payment to the email address used for Your purchase. Tickets shall not be used by You or others as prizes in contests, sweepstakes, or as free “giveaways,” or for any purpose other than to provide You and your guests with access to The Event. The Inquirer shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen Tickets. As between The Inquirer and You, The Inquirer reserves for itself all intellectual property rights in all aspects of the Event, including all creative designs, performances, and material published through all means and media. Except as specifically provided otherwise in these Terms, The Inquirer reserves for itself all such rights.
Purchases by Organizations. If You purchase Tickets as a representative of a company or other organization, You represent and warrant that You have authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of the company or other organization and on behalf of the Ticket holders. You shall also ensure participant(s) from the company or other organization attending the Event are made aware of and shall be bound by these Terms.
Food Allergies and Sensitivities. The Event brings together many types of food and beverages in a setting that allows for a celebration of many cuisines. The food available at the Event may include dairy, tree nuts, wheat, eggs, soy, and other ingredients. If You have food allergies or sensitivities, please consult with a medical professional prior to attending the Event. If You choose to attend the Event, such attendance is at Your sole risk; The Inquirer disclaims any liability for Your reaction to any food(s) or beverage(s) at the Event or the tools or equipment used to prepare and/or serve them.
Access. The Fillmore provides accessible entrances and restrooms; but no designated accessible parking. Recordings.
By The Inquirer. By attending the Event, You consent to the audio, visual, and/or other recording(s) of Your attendance at the Event by The Inquirer and to the use of such recordings by The Inquirer for editorial, marketing, and public performance purposes through all means and media, both commercial and non-commercial, in perpetuity, without compensation to You. You understand that such recording(s) may include Your name, likeness, voice, and actions. You release The Inquirer from any and all claims related to such recording(s) and The Inquirer’s use of them; You also waive all rights of privacy related to the recordings and uses described above.
By You. Any material filmed or recorded by You at the Event shall be subject to the mobile phone policies of The Fillmore and limited to your personal use. You may bring Your phone, personal video camera, GoPros, and/or small lighting accessories, but other recording equipment is prohibited. Recording of Event staff is prohibited. You agree that in the event of any other recording or equipment used by You, The Inquirer shall have the right to require that You leave the Event and to obtain preliminary and injunctive relief to enjoin the use of such recordings, without notice to You. Personal use includes: social media content, sharing to socials, capturing for personal memories; no livestreaming.
Assumption of Risk; Release; Limits of Liability. YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK AND DANGER INCIDENTAL TO THE EVENT, WHETHER OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING, OR AFTER THE EVENT. YOU VOLUNTARILY AGREE THAT THE INQUIRER, THE PHILADELPHIA FILLMORE, PUNCH LINE PHILLY, SPONSORS, PARTICIPANTS, AND ALL OTHER PARTIES INVOLVED IN THE EVENT AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES AND CONSULTANTS ARE EXPRESSLY RELEASED BY YOU FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM SUCH CAUSES. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE INQUIRER BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ACTUAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR ENHANCED DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATING TO, AND/OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS, ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO YOUR PROPERTY AT THE EVENT, OR ANY PERSONAL INJURY TO YOU OR OTHERS AT THE EVENT (INCLUDING DEATH) REGARDLESS OF (A) WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE, (B) WHETHER OR NOT THE INQUIRER WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND (C) THE LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) UPON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED. THE INQUIRER’S SOLE AND ENTIRE MAXIMUM LIABILITY, FOR ANY REASON, AND YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $1. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by Pennsylvania law applicable to contracts performed in Pennsylvania. Any claim arising under this agreement shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any cause of action You may have with respect to Your tickets must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.
Waiver; Severability. If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be unenforceable by reason of the law of any state or country in which they are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term or condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from that term and the remaining Terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.
Right to Modify; No Refunds. Tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Inquirer reserves the right to alter or vary the Event and/or these Terms without any obligation to make a refund. All changes are effective when posted. By purchasing any tickets, you agree to these terms and any changes to them. By attending the Event You agree to be bound by the terms posted as of the date of the Event. You are expected to check this page (https://foodfest.inquirer.com/ticket-terms-conditions) from time to time so You are aware of any changes, as they are binding on You.
Cancellation; Unforeseen Circumstances. The Inquirer reserves the right to change, cancel, and/or modify the Event if circumstances exist that would impair The Inquirer’s ability to hold the Event as planned. Those circumstances include, but are not limited to earthquake, fire, hurricane, riots, strikes, protests, weather, food shortages, government intervention, international conflicts, acts or threats of terrorism, the unavailability of the Venue, and other events or circumstances with similar potential impact on the Event. If The Inquirer cancels the Event as a result of any of the foregoing circumstances, or similar circumstances, it will provide you with a refund, or in the event that the Event is rescheduled, will honor your ticket at the rescheduled event.
Additional Purchases; Gratuities. Your Ticket does not include additional purchases or gratuities.
